4. Project Cancellation by the Client
Clients may request cancellation of a project by providing written notice via email.
The following conditions apply:
Before Work Begins
If a project is cancelled before any work has commenced, any advance payment may be refunded after deducting:
Payment gateway processing fees (if applicable)
Currency conversion charges (if applicable)
Bank transfer fees (if applicable)
Any administrative expenses already incurred
After Work Has Started
If work has already commenced, refunds will generally not be available.
However, at my sole discretion, a partial refund may be considered after deducting the value of:
Work already completed
Time spent on planning, consultation, research, design, or development
Third-party expenses incurred
Payment processing charges
Applicable taxes
5. No Refunds
Refunds will generally not be provided in the following situations:
The project has been substantially completed.
Final deliverables have been shared.
Website credentials, source files, or completed work have been delivered.
The client changes their business plans or preferences after work has started.
The client fails to provide required content, approvals, or feedback, resulting in delays.
The client requests features outside the agreed project scope.
Third-party software, hosting, domain names, themes, plugins, or licenses have already been purchased on the client’s behalf.
Delays or issues arise due to third-party service providers beyond my control.
6. Project Abandonment
If a client becomes unresponsive for 30 consecutive calendar days after a request for information, content, feedback, or approval, the project may be considered abandoned.
In such cases:
Work may be suspended or closed.
Payments already received will not be refunded.
Resuming the project at a later date may require a new quotation or revised timeline.
7. Cancellation by the Service Provider
I reserve the right to cancel or terminate a project if:
The client breaches the agreed terms.
Required payments are not made.
The client engages in abusive, threatening, or unlawful conduct.
Requested work violates applicable laws or infringes third-party rights.
The project cannot reasonably proceed due to circumstances beyond my control.
Where appropriate, any applicable refund will be determined after deducting the value of work completed and any non-recoverable expenses incurred.
8. Third-Party Costs
Payments made for third-party products or services are generally non-refundable. These may include:
Domain name registrations
Web hosting services
Premium WordPress themes
Premium plugins
Software licenses
API subscriptions
Cloud services
SSL certificates
Stock images, fonts, or media purchased specifically for the project
Any refunds for such items are subject solely to the policies of the respective third-party provider.
9. Payment Processing Fees
Where refunds are approved, payment gateway fees, bank charges, currency conversion fees, taxes, or other transaction costs that are not recoverable may be deducted from the refund amount.
10. Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method wherever reasonably possible.
Please allow 7 to 14 business days for the refund to be processed after approval. Actual processing times may vary depending on your bank, card issuer, or payment service provider.
11. Project Revisions
Unless otherwise stated in the project agreement, quotations may include a limited number of revisions.
Requests that exceed the agreed revision limit or introduce new functionality may be treated as additional work and billed separately.
12. Force Majeure
Refunds will not be payable for delays or interruptions caused by events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, internet outages, cyberattacks, government actions, labor disputes, or failures of third-party service providers.
